A Testimony of Love: Healing and Hope in Egbe

Miriam receiving life-saving treatment and nutrition alongside her baby. This journey is a powerful testimony of Christ’s love, reflected in the dedication and compassion of every person caring for this young mother and child.

Even members of Miriam’s camp came to witness the miraculous healing, their hearts touched by the outpouring of love and grace. This community, often marginalized and labeled as “difficult” or “undesirable” because they are herdsmen, is experiencing the transformative power of kindness and care.

We are humbled to play a part in offering them not just medical care, but dignity, hope, and a reminder that everyone deserves to be embraced by Christ’s love.

Being in ECWA College of Nursing [Sciences] has been a great experience and this school has actually been a transformative school. Being in this school has help me to grow spiritually, academically, physically, morally, and in other aspects.

Making Dreams a Reality: Training Nurses in Egbe

Meet Hassana, a young Fulani woman from the bush near Egbe. Her dream of becoming a nurse seemed impossible—her family had no money for tuition, and her father had already arranged her marriage. Going to school was not part of his dreams for his daughter.

After much prayer, negotiation, and the promise of scholarship support, Hassana was allowed to apply to the ECWA College of Nursing Science in Egbe. Today, she thrives in the post-basic nursing program, growing in her Christian faith and gaining skills while pursuing her dream.
