Our hearts are always full when we return from Egbe, having witnessed how much your partnership impacts this tremendous medical complex in rural Nigeria.
Each trip is so encouraging as we see the progress first-hand, participate in the hospital and college board meetings, and see the medical equipment, training aids, supplies and materials fully in use that have been sent on containers. We also witness staff working together to solve challenges and advance the ministry, hear students’ enthusiasm as they celebrate their accomplishments, and see the impact of the Gospel as patients are ministered to and cared for daily. It is a privilege to be part of a team building a center of educational and medical excellence!
Construction started in October on two additional dormitories, which will accommodate another 168 students. Imagine the impact of a generation of Christian nurses and midwives using their skills throughout Nigeria.
Early in 2024, we will welcome a missionary construction manager and begin building a new surgical center, male ward, and family medicine residency administration building while we continue to support the hospital in ongoing training and development.
Your partnership enables Egbe Medical Mission to support training, implement advanced technology, and build infrastructure so the hospital and college staff can deliver the highest standard of training and patient care in a very rural setting.
